COUNSELING
S&H Youth and Adult Services provides Mental Health and Substance Abuse individual, group, and family counseling. People may refer themselves or be referred by a case manager. Do You Need a Referral Form?
Mental Health Counseling- A strength based approach used to assist individuals with managing the stress of life and daily living. It is a therapeutic rapport developed and used to educate, habilitate, rehabilitate, encourage, and reinforce skills necessary for healthy living.
Substance Abuse Counseling- A recovery based program used to educate people about the disease of addiction and substance abuse, teach relapse prevention, and encourage healing. A strength based treatment approach used to develop skills necessary for healthy living, daily.
